Toronto fans are in for a treat when Robin Williams sits down to “chat” with his old friend, Canadian comedian, actor, director and author David Steinberg on Thursday November 13 at the Sony Centre.

As anyone who has ever seen the dynamic, energetic, unpredictable comedian on TV or live knows – he will not be sitting down for long. While his last Canadian outing was a pure stand up comedy tour, this time around he’ll be touching on a vast array of subjects. Steinberg will talk to him about a variety of topics such as his films, Mork & Mindy, Hollywood anecdotes, the world of stand up comedy and his own life, all of which, inevitably, will be given the very special, very funny & poignant Robin Williams treatment.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Montreal Jubilation Gospel Choir is pleased to be joined onstage their very special guests Kathleen Dyson, Daniel Clarke Bouchard and the Ekspresyon Dance Troup.

The Montreal Jubilation Gospel Choir, under the direction of Prof. Trevor W. Payne, has in the past decade evolved into what is now considered to be one of the world’s finest choirs.

It was in 1982 that Prof. Trevor W. Payne, a native of Barbados, started, with Daisy Peterson Sweeney (sister of Oscar Peterson), what is now the MJGC. It was to be a one-time event… the group, needless to say, hasn’t stopped singing!

Don’t miss this very special evening for an uplifting start off your holiday season!

We here at DKD Events are proud to have been involved in the production and organisation of Delcom Solution’s 30th anniversary. On May 24th, 2012 the Delcom team gathered with family, clients and hockey enthusiasts to celebrate the many achievements accomplished by the company over the past 30 years.

The celebration took place at the Delcom warehouse that we entirely transformed into the “Delcom Centre” complete with “ice” surface, scoreboard and players locker room. The evening’s programming included Quebec comedian François Massicotte, Montreal Canadiens hockey player David Desharnais and jazz quartet Jazz Faction.

The anniversary also featured speeches from Tony Delsignore, Rocco DelDuca and other distinguished guests such as Saint-Laurent’s Mayor Alan DeSousa, Ricoh Canada President Glenn Laverty, Ricoh Canada Vice President-Dealer Operations Mitch Henry, as well as PROs Elite 100 Steve Rolla.

The celebration ended with many great hockey themed prizes and giveaways, handed out by our hostesses in order to collect donations for The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation. The charity donations, proudly summed up and raised $2,400 for the organisation.

All in all, the fun-filled evening was a great success, a chance for our clients to sit back, relax and enjoy their accomplishments, all while raising some funds for a great cause! Go Delcom!
